Liv Kurt, known by her musical pseudonym "Live-In Vampyr", is a composer and sound designer whose work explores the limitless boundaries of sound, driven by improvisation.

Currently enrolled at SAE Vancouver and having studied at the Swiss Jazz School, Liv’s artistic practice thrives on freedom, innovation, and fluidity. Her compositions are as much a reflection of her personal journey as they are an invitation for listeners to explore their curiosity through music. 

Liv’s musical portfolio spans multiple disciplines, including the creation of immersive soundscapes for Swiss galleries, where she’s collaborated with visual artists to design atmospheric and evocative environments for their exhibitions. Her sound design work allows her to build soundscapes that interact with and enhance the visual, creating a multisensory experience for the audience.

In addition to her solo endeavours, Liv is currently collaborating with artist and co-founder Abigail Roscoe on their debut project, The Sixth Sun. Together, they blend Liv’s unique compositions with Abigail’s moody, narrative-driven storytelling and concept art, creating a deep, immersive audio-visual experience. Their partnership reflects their shared vision of merging sound and narrative in media, with plans to collaborate on future cinematic projects with a wide array of Vancouver-based artists.

Looking ahead, Liv is excited to continue her work in diverse creative projects, from composing for film to working with bands and further establishing herself as a producer.
